Description:
The Aviator Edition is designed specifically for piloting RC planes, the video headset comes with a built-in receiver with 3 user selectable channels CH1-2414, CH2-2432, CH3-2450.
The RCV922 headset's unique features are impressive; the largest FOV (field of view) of any commercially available headset, the only headset with a built in receiver, the only headset designed and manufactured specifically for FPV (First Person View) RC use and now, the only VGA video glasses with adjustable IPD (interpupilary distance), contrast and brightness controller which is a must for outdoor use.
Our CCD Killer and our RCV922 CCD cameras (sold separately) come pre-terminated to plug into the Aviator transmitter and it will supply power to the camera (no need for complicated wiring).
The RCV922 Aviator Edition builds on the intelligent, simple to use RCV922 system with addition of the following 40mW Aviator audio and video transmitter.
Developed and optimized by the RF experts at ImmersionRC, the 40mW TX is a lightweight airplane specific TX.
Robust connectors are designed to withstand impacts and repairs can be made easily by the hobbyist.
The 40mW TX provides output to power 5 volts camera, and this transmitter will give you ranges of .5 Km 500+ meters (line of sight, no sources of interference present) so is perfectly suited for park flyers.
We do not recommend the use of the RCV922 with 2.4 GHz R/C transmitters, interference may occur.
The new RCV922 Headset comes with the same 46 FOV but with a better optical system, providing more eye relief with a flater image and eliminating edge distorion. Another great feature are the slots added for diopter lens for nearsighted users (diopter lens are sold separated).
Even all these features added the headset is now 30 % lighter than its predecessor.
The RCV922 has a video In video Out jack, giving the ability to use it as a regular video glasses with any other compatible devices as well, DVD player, Ipod, MP4 or to a external audio and video audio receiver.
