WAYPOINT 2215-22 TURN, 914KV,56G BRUSHLESS MOTOR

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

New! High-Performance, High-Value Brushless Outrunner Motors - E2215 Series from Waypoint - with CNC VECTOR Cooling Fan

The Waypoint E22 Series represent a leap forward in powerful, yet affordable, Brushless Outrunner Motors for RC Aircraft. From front to back, they have been engineered to suit your needs. The collet retainer on front-side of the motor shaft is not only more secure than the typical circlip, but also allows you to switch to back-mount (radial) configuration without any extra work. When the motor is backmounted, a 6mm shaft stub allows you to mount props with 3mm holes (such as GWS Slowfly) directly using the included Prop-Saver Adapter and O-Ring system. For high rpm operation, go without the prop saver, and mount a 3mm collet adapter directly to the shaft stub. When mounted in conventional front position, you will find the double sets of M3 mounting holes - on 16mm and 19mm centers - fit the mounts on virtually any ARF model aircraft. No extra drilling or fiddling to make it work!

The main motor components are made from CNC machined aluminum alloy, and the rotor housing from highly impermeable steel for highest magnetic efficiency. Fully-rounded magnets with high temperature rating insure that the motors stay reliable. For extra insurance against overheating, the VECTOR COOLINGtm system pulls a steady stream of cool air through the motor. This not only prevents damage, but even increases efficiency - and therefore the power delivered throughout your flights...

Note: Power handling capacity of any prop-saver system depends on the rpm and size of the prop, and on the amount of vibration allowed by the motor mount. The Waypoint Prop-Saver Adapter and its special O-Ring is one of the best on the market. However, we suggest a cautious limit of 90W maximum when using the prop saver. Be sure to inspect the condition of the O-Ring before each flight. When worn or damaged, replace o-ring from spare parts set #W-E22PSRING. E2205, E2208, and E2212 Series motors all come with Prop Saver Adapter and O-Ring included. E2215 Series do not include the Prop-Saver Adapter, as they are generally intended for 120W minimum input power. All motors include Mounting Screws, and quality 3.5mm Gold Connectors pre-soldered to the motor, and also 3 female connectors and heat shrink included for ESC side
