This Head tracker module is specially and exclusively designed for the FatShark Dominator video glasses only.
Thanks to the modular feature of Dominator video glasses, this module can be easily installed or removed any time from the video glasses. The head function control the camera pan/tilt function remotely through RC transmitter trainer port connection. (Futaba Radios only) It has the highest accuracy and fastest speed than its predecessors.

Notes from Fatshark
The Head tracker module V4 has an auto disengage function when the motion exceeds 90 degrees (which is beyond the motion the head tracker outputs maximum servo movement). This feature is so you can disengage the head tracker in a panic situation by turning your head which will lock the camera back into the center position for safe piloting. Its also useful for when handing off the headset to another user as the motion will disengage the head tracker so the other person gets the headset with the camera in the center position. It also eliminates erratic camera motion when prepping your airplane with the headset parked on your head.

Variations in the voltage level of the supplied PPM line can confuse the HT during initiation and cause this slow response.
Power up the goggles and HT 1st before turning on the radio (or connect the radio after goggles are powered).

Your RC radio must be able to selectively assign trainer functions for the higher channels (ch5-8) in order to work. Many radios can do selective assignment but only on the 4 primary controls. Read your RC radio manual 1st before requesting support for your radio.

WARNING TO ANYONE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE YOUR OWN CABLE: The HT PCB can be easily damaged by accidentally applying voltage to the PPM line or vise versa, damage your radio. Fat Shark will not warranty any damage due to modified cables. Cables are inexpensive and in stock at most retailers.
