I always used the cheap Chinese receiver sold all over the internet with digital channel display.
Then I got two of the R1200 receivers, and their performance is way better than the Chinese receivers I have!
I also upgrade the stock antennas with X-air 1.2ghz antenna, and I was able to get 18 km without any problems.
